Prior to the start-up of Your Nurse Advocate Consulting, Pam has been a registered nurse since 1983 with a diverse clinical background ranging from acute care, surgical oncology, emergency department, home health, hospice and previously held a certification as a legal nurse.

Success in home health led to advancement to management followed by executive nursing where she became a branch director for a national home health care agency overseeing both clinical and financial operations for two locations in Wisconsin; Milwaukee and Racine. In 2004, Pam earned the Pinnacle Award for having a top performing branch within that company.

Pam is pursuing her B.S.N. from Marian College in Fond du Lac, WI after completing her 3-year Diploma Degree in nursing from Augustana Hospital in Chicago, Il where she earned the Dr. Crean Memorial Award and Scholarship while finishing 2nd in her class.

To round out her nursing career, Pam’s most recent experience is in the arenas of Hospital Case Management and Utilization Review.

Pam’s strength in nursing, outside of the clinical skills, exists in the area of patient advocacy where she finds her strength in speaking for those that cannot speak for themselves. This passion has led her to co-founding Your Nurse Advocate Consulting, LLC and becoming a board-certified patient advocate.
